Say hello to a new month and some new things I’ve made myself do! After testing a couple of options (clearly not enough), I’ve started to keep track of my finances properly. This is normally something one would get a certified accountant to do, but I don’t earn enough income to support that, so I’m currently doing it myself with my own setup for myself that covers my music project and related stuff as well as my current job I earn money from that I won’t reveal in this blog. As well as that, I can’t remember if I mentioned I got a second-hand laptop recently, but I am dedicating that machine almost entirely to the business side of things, with emails, planning, research, documentation, updating this blog, and so on and so forth. It almost feels like it’s been a while since I’ve looked at my music, too. This style of administrative business really dulls the mind enough that I can almost relax properly from the creative side of things and allow words I’ve written to dictate my future behaviour and actions.
In other news, coronavirus strikes again, this time in the form of three women returning illegally from Melbourne through a Sydney transfer and testing positive, forcing many small businesses and other places of service to shut down here in Brisbane. This is a real bother for me, as I have just started going to church recently. Oh well, I guess I’ll have to make-do with Sunday mass live-streams. Hopefully this all blows over by the end of next week. Oh yeah, that’s another thing I have to do. I still have to finish the Book of John and then move on to Acts, and so on and so forth. I don’t want to become complacent with these matters, despite how easy it is to do so. Happy Ekka month, lads.
